Jeffrey Golenski
Jeff became involved in web design when he was about fourteen years old, a young teen in junior high school. During high school, he began to follow the Web Standards. In his junior year, Jeff won first place in the Bristol Community College Web Design Competition.
In his senior year, Jeff attended the SkillsUSA National Web Design Competition in Kansas City, Missouri. The competition, hosted by The World Organization of Webmasters, was comprised of dozens of student teams from throughout the United States (and some U.S. territories). Representing Massachusetts along with fellow student Jeff Cormier, Jeff G. won the Bronze Medallion (third place in the United States) in the Web Design Competition.
Jeff's graphic design passion came about shortly after his discovery of the Web. Jeff realized he wouldn't be able to create much of a site if he couldn't design and create his own graphics and layouts.
Photography is yet another of Jeff's passions. A serious amateur and hobbyist, he got into digital photography in 2003, just about halfway through his high school career. Jeff is mainly a landscape and nature photographer, but also uses his talent to capture images of all subjects - including photos for his web work.
Jeff is currently a student at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. He is pursuing a double major in college: an Associate's degree in Web Development and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Graphics & New Media. Jeff's personal website can be viewed at www.midnight-shift.net.
